Corporate Social Responsibility & Ethics Policy
Revised: 17th June 2024
Our commitment
At Join Branch Ltd (“Branch”, “we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe in doing business in a way that is responsible, values-led, and human-centred. As a small UK-based organisation supporting women returning to work after maternity leave, our work is rooted in social purpose. We strive to reflect this in every aspect of how we operate.
This statement outlines our approach to corporate social responsibility (CSR), encompassing our commitments to ethical business practices, environmental stewardship, community engagement, and inclusive culture.
Ethical Conduct
We are committed to:
Acting with honesty and integrity in all our dealings
Complying with all applicable laws and regulations, including anti-bribery, employment and data protection laws
Maintaining transparency in our partnerships and commercial relationships
Championing fairness, respect, and dignity in the workplace and beyond
We aim to work only with suppliers, partners, and collaborators who share our commitment to ethical business practices.
Social responsibility
We are proud to support women at a critical career transition point and view our business as a form of social impact in itself. Beyond our core work, we also seek to:
Support community initiatives aligned with our mission
Contribute to inclusive conversations around work, parenthood and gender equality
Use our platform to raise awareness and challenge outdated narratives about motherhood and ambition
We actively explore partnerships with like-minded organisations and funders to extend our impact.
Environmental awareness
As a small, mostly digital business, our direct environmental footprint is low. However, we remain mindful of the ecological impact of our operations. We are committed to:
Minimising unnecessary travel and using remote-first practices
Choosing sustainable suppliers and venues wherever possible
Reducing paper and waste, and using digital tools efficiently
As we grow, we aim to deepen our environmental commitments in a proportionate and practical way.
Diversity, equity and inclusion
We believe that a diverse and inclusive community is not only fairer but stronger. We are committed to:
Being an equal opportunity employer
Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all identities and backgrounds
Listening to underrepresented voices and embedding inclusion in our work
Continuous learning and accountability
We are a learning organisation. We seek feedback, reflect often, and adapt our practices in response to what we learn. We also review our policies annually to ensure they reflect our current operations and values.
