Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy Statement
Revised: 17th June 2024
Introduction
At Join Branch Ltd (“Branch”, “we,” “us,” or “our”), we believe that everyone should be treated with dignity, fairness and respect. We are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all parts of our business and any supply chains we work with.
Modern slavery is a serious violation of human rights and includes forced labour, human trafficking, servitude and other forms of exploitation. We have a zero-tolerance approach and are committed to acting ethically and transparently.
Our Business
Branch is a UK-based small business supporting women as they return to work after maternity leave. While we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (which applies to businesses with an annual turnover of £36 million or more), we are choosing to do so voluntarily.
Our business and supply chains are relatively low-risk for modern slavery, but we believe it’s essential to clearly and publicly state our values. We are committed to acting with integrity, promoting fair treatment, and doing our part to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in any form.
Our Commitments
We ensure all our employees, freelancers and contractors are engaged in line with UK employment law.
We work with trusted partners and suppliers, and we expect all those we work with to uphold fair and ethical working practices.
We aim to be alert to any risks, even in a small organisation like ours, and we will take seriously any concerns raised.
Raising Concerns
If anyone working with or for Branch has concerns that modern slavery or exploitation may be occurring in any part of our business or through a supplier, we encourage them to raise it with a company director, in confidence. We will always listen and act where needed.
Review and Transparency
We will review this policy annually to ensure it reflects our current operations and responsibilities under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015.
